OK, so Singapore experienced more rainfall in 20 hours on 19 December 2006 than the entire month of December by average. To give you an idea of how much rain was involved, click on the radar map from Singapore’s National Environment Agency below (map saved at 1:50pm 19 December 2006).
That’s a lot of water. No doubt the kids were having a good time. Luckily this is the school holidays, otherwise, traffic would be even worse. Problem is, in the afternoon, with the rain and cool temperature, it sure feels like the perfect chance to sleep. Coffee does not help..
