Here are some experimental shots I took after getting my 15mm Sigma lens. So I decided to test out wide angle lenses versus stitching several shots together.

Cityscape 2 (15mm)
Date: 2003-03-16 - 06:48
Venue: Singapore Benjamin Sheares Bridge
Camera: Nikon D100
Lens: Sigma 15-30 F3.5/4.5
Shooting: 15mm 4s F6.3
Flash: None
ISO: 200
DD Sharpen: Standard
DD White Balance: None
DD Exposure Comp: 0
DD Crop-ed
Notes: This is a shot done with a wide-angle 15mm Sigma

Cityscape 2 (Panorama)
Date: 2003-03-16 - 06:52
Venue: Singapore Benjamin Sheares Bridge

Camera: Nikon D100
Lens: Sigma 24-70 F2.8
Shooting: 40mm 2.5s F6.3
Flash: None
ISO: 200
DD Sharpen: Standard
DD White Balance: None
DD Exposure Comp: 0
DD Photoshop-ed, Stitch-ed

Notes: Here is the same shot done at 40mm, but actually stitched together from three sepeate shots using PTgui and PanoTools, with further stitching in Photoshop. The actual image size is 4.75 times larger than this one, or approximately 8800×2300 pixels or 75×20cm at 300dpi
